Scheme Closure

In response to Government Guidance, Cross Gates & District Good Neighbours’ Scheme CIO is very sorry to announce we are suspending all of our activities and closing our Station Road site to visitors from 1pm, Tuesday 17 March. However, our staff will still be dealing with telephone enquiries on 0113 260 6565 and we will be contacting all of you to help you stay safe and well.

Befriender Support

We are not abandoning anyone and are putting in place additional telephone befriender support so we can keep in touch with all our clients.  The CDGNS office remains open for staff and will do so during this hopefully short problematic time.

Email or call us

We are anticipating high call numbers, so if you are having difficulties getting through and have access to the internet please email Jo@crossgatesgns.org.uk leave your name and telephone number and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you to all volunteers who are assisting with these additional tasks.

Remember the advised best way of avoiding contamination is to wash hands with soapy water after touching surfaces and to try and avoid touching your face. We at CDGNS are thinking of you all and with your help we will be back to normal soon. Our main aim is to support the over 60s and their carers to enable them to overcome loneliness and maintain a healthy, happy life in their own homes.
