Local Businesses – we need your help

Towards the end of last year, a working group started to look at how to make Cross Gates a Dementia Friendly Community. We then started to talk to people living with dementia and carers to understand what they enjoyed about living in Cross Gates and what could be improved.

The Cross Gates Local Care Partnership is a joined-up team working approach to deliver local care for local people; working in and with local communities. As a partnership, we identified a large population living with dementia in the Cross Gates area. Having spoken to local people living with dementia, our key priorities are to look at training and awareness and making businesses Safe Places and dementia friendly.

We have devised a short survey for local businesses, large and small, to complete to understand what knowledge is already in our area and prioritise organisations to work with to widen our awareness.

Complete the Survey

We would greatly appreciate it if you could complete the survey, which should take no more than 10 minutes, to support the next step of this journey.
