WeeklyIT Support Drop-In10am - 12pm
Our Digital Co-ordinator (Sam), is available alongside our Digital Health Champion volunteers to support you to do more online. The IT Support Drop-In runs alongside our Tuesday Coffee Morning, so you can enjoy a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich at the same time!
We can support you to do more online such as:
- Book your GP appointments
- Order your prescriptions.
- Access ‘Learn My Way’ courses.
- Connect with family & friends.
- Find local activities and support groups
Come along with any IT questions or problems that you may have and our volunteers will aim to help you…

WeeklyShort Walks10.30am - 12pm
These walks will leave from the Newman Centre on the Tuesdays that we don’t have a Minibus trip booked. The walks will be around one-mile long, at a leisurely pace with plenty of opportunities to sit down at local parks around Leeds. The short walks will only take place during Spring and Summer. Please look out for the dates and destination in the office from mid-May.

Suitable for all abilities, Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that can help reduce stress, improve posture, balance, muscle strength and flexibility.

We meet on the first Tuesday of every month at the Newman Centre to enjoy a light lunch in company and enjoy a sing a long with our resident musician. Must Book.

MonthlyBirds of a Feather1pm - 3pm
For people living with dementia and their carers. We understand how overwhelming and uncertain it can be living with and caring for a loved one with a memory impairment. Meeting up with others can offer reassurance, emotional and practical advice and support. We meet on the third Tuesday of the month and offer a range of interactive activities, entertainment and carer support.

MonthlyFood and a Film12pm - 3pm
Our Food and a Film group is held on the fourth Tuesday of the month, a chance to enjoy a light lunch and film in company with a treat at the interval! Runs from September to May and is paused during the Summer. Please call the office to book a place. View details to see the films on offer.

We meet every Wednesday afternoon to provide a gentle exercise class, including chair-based exercise, suitable for those with Osteoporosis. Please contact the office for further details. We currently have two Flexicise classes running at different times.

MonthlyCarers Leeds Support Group2pm - 4pm
On the first Wednesday of every month we welcome all carers to join us at this carers’ support group. A monthly group working in partnership with Carers Leeds, the group is welcoming and friendly, giving carers a break from caring and the opportunity to get advice, information and support tailored towards your caring role.
